3D Printing

Cabin Digital was on the leading edge of 3D print users and we now use a MakerBot 2x for rapid prototypes.  In addition to fast and cost effective prototypes 3D printing allows creation of things not possible with other processes.  The ability to “print” 3D objects with 2 colors, supports and even dissolvable structures.  You can print complete multipart objects in a single print.

While 3D printing’s strength is in prototypes, it has become a critical tool in on demand and obsolescent parts.  The ability to quickly make a missing or broken part from ABS or PLA allows our team to solve problems and keep projects on schedule.
