History and Future

Cabin Digital, LLC is a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB).  Based in historic Fredericksburg Virginia our company is strategically located near Washington DC, Richmond, Baltimore and numerous Federal agencies and bases.  Our success is based on building small hyper-productive, customer focused teams.  As a small company with highly skilled staff we pride ourselves at providing large company expertise at small company costs.

Our History:

Cabin Digital is the logical progression of years of collaborative projects and team-building.  Our team includes members that have known and worked  together for years and that forms our solid foundation.  When Cabin in the Woods Quilters moved into digital publication, web portals and eCommerce, Cabin Digital was born resulting in our Production Services Group (PSG).   Cabin Digital then expanded into Engineering Consulting Services (ECS).  ECS provide advanced engineering support services including both short term individual SME support and longer term team efforts.  Our team has grown in size and capabilties and we have several multi-year successes.  As a provider of innovation and collaboration techniques, our team is often asked to assess existing solutions and technologies and help define roadmaps for our customer’s enterprises.

Cabin Digital created and applies “The Art of Innovation”.  This technique combines our COTS and vendor expertise with an innovative user needs analysis and prioritization creating technology and design roadmaps for customers.  Our solutions range from needs and concepts analysis to fully operational system deployments.

Every customer, project, and mission is greeted with excitement and commitment.  Our team is composed of a diverse group of highly skilled and motivated individuals.  Our staff is highly educated and possesses many critical certifications such as PMP and CISSP.  Each member is a shareholder and hence empowered to support and fulfill customer needs.  The results are small agile teams allocated to each customer and effort allowing both the team and customer to build a solid relationship to achieve the desired project outcomes.

We continue to grow our facilities and capabilities; we recently added a precision 4 axis CNC Tormach 1100 mill.  Engineering, Production and Analysis services form the core of our growing future.  Each project expands our ability to support customer needs.
