Cyber, Software and Infrastructure Architect

Chris is a valuable part of Cabin Digital’s team.  His skills and contributions in software development and the necessary hardware needed to make these developed and deployed capabilities run efficiently and securely.  Core competencies include: full software development lifecycle support, system design and administration with an emphasis on security.

Experience includes over 10 years of systems support and 5 years of application development, deployment and administration for US government customers.   Supports COTS, GOTS and Open Source tool evaluations for use in infrastructure collection and analysis.

Certifications: Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) – DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II and III IA,  Computer Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Pursuing Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).

Specialized Hardware skills include: rapid prototyping, repurposing technologies, installation and maintenance of IBM Blade Servers, Cisco ASA 5500 series firewalls, VMWare ESXi virtualizations, MySQL and other Open Source databases as well as OpenVPN installations.  Many tasks are fast turn efforts that require using limited assets.

Education: Dual Bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University in Foreign Languages and Computer Science.  Current MS candidate in Information Technology with emphasis on Information Assurance at the American Military University (AMU).

Program Engineer

Allison is a recent addition to our Cabin Digital team. With a B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech she brings a successful combination of hard-science and human behavioral analysis.  Allison is currently a program lead on several efforts and is also quickly becoming an expert on our 150W Kern CNC CO2 laser while developing our laser training materials.

In addition to Program duties, Allison leads several design teams that include website and mobile applications.  Her past experiences includes: Assisting in multiple research labs while at VT and a manager for a local business with a staff 20.  Her skills and enthusiasm help build strong and excited teams.
